GEST 2011 Europe
Dear Colleagues,
Embolotherapy has become a central part of daily Interventional Radiology work. Embolization indications have substantially increased over the last decade and continue to do so. Fibroid embolization, trauma and GI-hemorrhage are only a few areas manifesting this fast increase. Additionally, treatment of vascular malformations is fully dependent on embolization techniques. Oncology treatment with drug-eluting and target-specific beads is another fast-growing field of embolization indication.
Last conferences dedicated their entire programme to Embolization. GEST 2009 in Paris/FR with over 1,000 participants participated in the most comprehensive programme GEST has seen in its 3 year history. For 2011 the GEST organisers and the CIRSE Foundation have joined forces and one single event dedicated exclusively to Embolization will take place from April 27 to 30, 2011 in Paris, France.
We are very much looking forward to meeting you in Paris in 2011.
